Freedom 55

My patient told me she would be 85 on Sunday.
“I will be 55 on Saturday,” I added.

25...55...85

summer...fall...winter

a hop, skip and a jump

Happy Birthday to us!

and at 55, I feel free to be me.

January 30, 1960...Fifty years ago (hard to believe isn't it!)

  7. 55 ... you are free to retire! I turned 55 last year and got my work pension (of course with a penalty). I felt rich.

Anyway, the years sure do have a way of flying by. I so wouldn't want to go back and have to do it all over again ... if with what I know now. The nice thing about being older ... one IS freer to be themselves.

  11. What a little cutie pie you were! Yes, indeed, the years do fly by. Happy birthday!
I'm a math person, and I noticed that my mom was born in 1918, I was born in 1948, my oldest son was born in 1978, and his first son was born in 2008...we're all thirty years apart! I know, I know, that's only cool to math people.
